After the success of our winter knees up, we are back with a bang with our 27th birthday celebration at the newly furbished  XOYO.

After the success of our winter knees up, we are back with a bang with our 27th birthday celebration at the newly furbished XOYO. We bring you a star studded DJ line up across two rooms with the king of hard house BK headlining the harder room along with Andy Farley. He is joined by our fabulous resident Dan Madams, FEERSUM favourites The Sharp boys, rising star Edele Andaya, and a welcome return for Jon Hemming.
In the uplifting room we have our residents from the very beginning, Ian Betts and Paul Allen, being accompanied by the fantastic Steve Blake, Craig Jones, Anthony Dean and Timmy Whizz.
This is going to be a birthday party you really do not want to miss!!!

Review of FEERSUM 27th BIRTHDAY PARTY

Always a great event to attend .. great music , great atmosphere,and a very friendly, happy vibe 

Second time at XOYO and first time for Feersum (27th Birthday event).
First time seeing the "refurb" since Andy Farley Nov 2025 and first time seeing the second room (upstairs).
Re the refurb - Slight difference in the downstairs room. The large-ish stage area on the left has been removed and has flexible/removable dance staging (2 tiers) which is about a third the size of the original. This means there is more space on the main dance floor. Which works.
Other than that it was all very subtle the changes other than the speakers - they are not Ministry of Sound grade but still very good. They had obviously decided the "grime" look was still in !
They could have put some lighting on the steps (LEDs on each step would look nice and would not be expensive) going down to the main room as it was tricky at times seeing where the steps were - unpleasant accident if you get it wrong.
The upstairs room works well and has a bit more seating especially away from the dance floor - if you want to chill/talk. The bar was just as good as the main room.
Plenty of working aircon in the main room which helped because it was quoted as 28 degrees. Although I think some of the aircon head units could do with a clean - som**hing that is often forgotten!
Music - well with Andy Farley (Basically his second home as he does 10hr set @XOYO each year) & BK etc on the decks it was always going to be a good day/night :-)
I think there was a couple of accidental "crossfader" issues for a couple of DJs but they sorted things out after a "little" time...
So I'm already looking forward to my next visit to XOYO for Andy Farley's (AF16) 10hr vinyl set in November :-)
