To Kill a Mockingbird returns to the West End for a strictly limited summer season. Aaron Sorkin’s stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel is set in 1934 Alabama and follows lawyer Atticus Finch as he tries to uncover the truth in a town that seems determined to hide it, while encouraging kindness and empathy in his children.
The story is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, which has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide. Inspired by Harper Lee’s own childhood, it was long at the top of the banned book lists and has already been a Broadway and West End success.
