About To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird is Aaron Sorkin’s stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel, returning to the West End for a strictly limited season this summer. Set in 1934 Alabama, it centres on lawyer Atticus Finch as he encourages kindness and empathy in his children while trying to uncover the truth in a town determined to hide it.

The production has already been a Broadway and West End success, and is currently playing to sell-out audiences on a national tour across the UK and Ireland. Harper Lee’s novel was inspired by her own childhood, has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide, won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature and was long at the top of the banned book lists.

Running time: Approximately 2 hours 50 minutes including an interval.
