To Kill a Mockingbird is Aaron Sorkin’s award-winning stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel, returning to the West End for a strictly limited summer season. It is currently playing to sell-out audiences on a national tour across the UK and Ireland.
Set in 1934 Alabama, the story follows lawyer Atticus Finch as he urges kindness and empathy in his children, then finds those values tested when he sets out to uncover the truth in a town determined to hide it.
Inspired by Harper Lee’s own childhood, the novel has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide. It won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature and spent a long time on banned book lists.
