Join us for an engaging and accessible evening exploring one of the most important global issues of our time on behalf of The Borgen Project. Emily and I are both political affairs interns with The Borgen Project and we are dedicated to raising more awareness that this organisation deserves. This event will take a closer look at what global poverty really means today, moving beyond headlines and statistics to understand the real challenges people face across the world. We'll explore key issues such as access to education, healthcare, food security, and economic opportunity, and how these factors are interconnected. You'll also learn how lasting change is being driven not just through aid, but through policy and advocacy. We'll talk about impactful legislation that The Borgen Project has been able to pass and the initiatives we take to help reduce poverty and improve quality of life. There will be an opportunity for an open discussion and any questions. The aim of this event is for you to walk away with a newfound confidence that getting involved in politics and advocacy isn't as daunting as it may appear! and that it's probably easier than you think.
