About Hamilton

Hamilton is a musical telling the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. The production is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, and is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Age guidance: suitable for ages 10+ because the show contains some strong language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by, and seated next to, a ticketholder aged 18 or over. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed.
