

Hamilton is the stage musical about Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.
With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Based on Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton, its score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway.
Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.
Hamilton contains some strong language and is suitable for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old, and children under 3 will not be admitted.
The performance on Wednesday 29 April 2026 is a Relaxed Performance for people with autism, learning disabilities, sensory and communication needs, or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. Sound and lighting will be adjusted, normal rules of theatregoing such as being quiet and sitting still do not apply, and the show will start at 6.30pm.
