The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture. Arriving in London in 2025, the production is staged in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue.
An award-winning creative team, including playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster, brings the original story to the stage. The show follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in a tale of courage, hope and unbreakable human spirit.
Running time: Act 1: 1 hour 07 mins; interval: 20 mins; Act 2: 1 hour 08 mins.
This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt. No under 3s are permitted. A good guide is to check whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content in The Hunger Games films. The recommended age is 12+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
