

Oh, Mary! at Trafalgar Theatre is an 80-minute one-act dark comedy about Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton, it looks at unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires through the life of Mrs Lincoln.
Declared “one of the best comedies in years” by The New York Times, the production received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play, for Cole Escola, and Best Direction of a Play, for Sam Pinkleton. For its London transfer, the overview lists Mason Alexander Park, Kate O’Donnell, Oliver Stockley, Dino Fetscher and Giles Terera.
Running time: 1 hour 20 minutes with no intermission.
