

Oh, Mary! at Trafalgar Theatre, London, is Cole Escola’s dark comedy about Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Directed by Sam Pinkleton and starring Mason Alexander Park, it looks at Mary’s unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires as the play follows her life and hopes from an unusual comic angle.
The production has been described by The New York Times as “one of the best comedies in years”. It also received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play and Best Direction of a Play.
The show runs without an interval, making it a tightly paced one-act play focused on Mary Todd Lincoln’s story.
Running time: 1 hour 20 minutes, no intermission.
