

Oh, Mary! at Trafalgar Theatre, London is an 80-minute one-act dark comedy by Cole Escola, directed by Sam Pinkleton and starring Mason Alexander Park. The play follows a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, using humour to explore unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires.
It received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play for Cole Escola and Best Direction of a Play for Sam Pinkleton. The production has also been described by The New York Times as “one of the best comedies in years”.
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes, with no intermission.
