Skate Wear Merchandise

Competitors have 45 seconds to impress the judges. Boogie on Skates to the music of their choice. Performance's will be scored based on Technique, Execution, Originality, Characterisation, Musicality and Attire. T&Cs apply.

Urban Dance Roller Skating Competition Spectator. This gives you a ticket for 1 seat at the event.

Urban Dance Roller Skating Competition Open Skate. This gives you a ticket to open skate and drill your skills and participate in a Skate Workshop by Skate_Tingz.

Each judge will score you out of 10 points. The points will be then calculated to get your overall score. The skater or group with the highest score will be the winner. 1st place prize of £600 plus trophy's and skate wear merchandise for 2nd and 3rd (In the event of a tie break you will have a skate off.) All additional proceeds will go to the charity MIND

T&C
By entering the competition, all participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
Entry: Competitor's must pay £10 in advance, spectators can pay cash on the door for entry Eligibility: All competitor's must register in advance and be at least 16 years old. Proof of age may be required.

-:Skates: Participants must bring and use their own roller skates. No rental skates will be provided.

-:Music: Each performance must be accompanied by a music track, music must be submitted in MP3 format by Tuesday 9th December 2025.

-:Safety Gear: Helmets and appropriate safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards) are strongly recommended.

-:Performance Surface: Skaters are responsible for inspecting the performance area before their routine. Report any hazards to staff immediately.
-:Code of Conduct: All participants must behave respectfully toward fellow competitors, judges, staff, and spectators. Any form of misconduct may result in disqualification.

-:Judging: Performances will be judged based on Technique, Execution, Originality, Characterisation, Musicality and Attire. The judges' decisions are final.

-:Liability: The organisers accept no responsibility for personal injury, damage to property, or loss of belongings during the event.

-:Time Limits: Any performance exceeding 45 seconds will be stopped.

-:Media Release: By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, image, and performance footage for promotional purposes related to the event.

1.Judge Kelly: Skate Base London - will appraise your Technique, checking out; distribution of weight, balance, edge control, pivots, turns, crossovers, agility, stopping and starting
2.Judge Rachel: Actor and Drama Therapist - will appraise your acting skills, checking out; characterisation, charisma, performance, energy, facial expressions
3.Judge Nana & Bobo: BONANA - The infamous Street Skate duo will appraise your originality and flair checking out for unique, interesting, stylish, new and inventive movements
4.Judge Amir: Skatetingz - will appraise execution and flow checking out; fluidity and transitions from one movement to another.
5.Judge Ashleigh: Live Events Producer, Dance Teacher and Choreographer - will appraise your use of Space, Time, Music, Actions and Energy to communicate an idea.
6.Judge Shaz: Fashion Designer - will appraise your Attire, checking out if your outfit represents your Roller Dance Theme.
