The Tiger Who Came To Tea at Haymarket, London is a musical play adapted and directed by David Wood, based on Judith Kerr’s book. The show returns to the West End for Summer 2026 and is an Olivier Award nominated stage adaptation of the classic picture book.
When Sophie and her mummy sit down to tea, the doorbell rings and a big, stripy tiger appears. The show follows this story of teatime mayhem with magic, sing-along songs and clumsy chaos, bringing the familiar tale to the stage for families.
The production has received four-star reviews from The Times, Mail on Sunday, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and Daily Express, and five stars from Whatsonstage.com.
