The Tiger Who Came To Tea at Haymarket, London, is a musical play adapted and directed by David Wood, based on Judith Kerr’s much-loved picture book. It returns to the West End for Summer 2026.
The story begins when the doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. What they find is a big, stripy tiger, and the show follows the tea-guzzling visitor through a family tale full of magic, sing-along songs and clumsy chaos.
The production is Olivier Award nominated and is presented as a stage adaptation of Britain’s best-loved picture book by Judith Kerr.
