Grace Pervades at the Haymarket, London is a new play by David Hare set around Sir Henry Irving, the greatest actor of the Victorian age, and Ellen Terry, the most loved and best paid actress of the day. Ralph Fiennes plays Sir Henry Irving, with Miranda Raison as Ellen Terry.
The production comes fresh from a sell-out season at the Theatre Royal Bath. It traces Ellen Terry’s joining of Irving’s company at the Lyceum Theatre, and the relationship between the two performers who changed the theatre forever.
The creative team includes director Jeremy Herrin and designer Bob Crowley, with Olivier award-winning talent behind the production.
Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.
