Grace Pervades is a new play by David Hare, fresh from a sell-out season at the Theatre Royal Bath. It stars Ralph Fiennes as Sir Henry Irving, the greatest actor of the Victorian age, with Miranda Raison as Ellen Terry, the most loved and best paid actress of the day.
The play follows Ellen Terry’s joining of Irving’s company at the Lyceum Theatre and explores a theatrical partnership that changed the theatre forever. Their relationship was never known for sure, but the play centres on the impact they had on the stage.
The production is led by director Jeremy Herrin and designer Bob Crowley.
Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.
Patrons requiring accessible seating in the theatre or wheelchair spaces should contact the box office on 020 7930 8800. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
