Grace Pervades at the Haymarket, London, is a new play by David Hare about Sir Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, two major figures of Victorian theatre. Ralph Fiennes plays Irving, described as the greatest actor of the Victorian age, while Miranda Raison plays Ellen Terry, the most loved and best paid actress of her day.
The play follows Terry's arrival in Irving's company at the Lyceum Theatre and the theatrical partnership that followed. Their relationship, whether or not they were lovers, is presented as one that changed the theatre forever. The production arrives fresh from a sell-out season at the Theatre Royal Bath.
The creative team is led by director Jeremy Herrin and designer Bob Crowley.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.
No refund or exchanges are available after purchase.
