Grace Pervades at Haymarket, London, is a new play by David Hare. It follows Sir Henry Irving, played by Ralph Fiennes, and Ellen Terry, played by Miranda Raison, in a story about the Victorian stage, the Lyceum Theatre and the working relationship that changed theatre forever.

The production has come to Haymarket fresh from a sell-out season at the Theatre Royal Bath. It brings together Olivier award-winning creative talent, with Jeremy Herrin directing and Bob Crowley designing.

Ralph Fiennes plays Sir Henry Irving, described by the Daily Telegraph as “a stage giant”, while Miranda Raison plays Ellen Terry, the most loved and best paid actress of the day. The play explores their relationship and its impact on theatre history.
