Grace Pervades at Haymarket is a new play by David Hare about Sir Henry Irving and Ellen Terry. Ralph Fiennes plays Irving, while Miranda Raison plays Terry.
The story follows Irving’s company at the Lyceum Theatre and the partnership between Irving and Terry, which changed the theatre forever. Their relationship was never known for certain, but it sits at the heart of the play.
The production comes to London fresh from a sell-out season at Theatre Royal Bath. It is directed by Jeremy Herrin, with design by Bob Crowley.
Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.
