Grace Pervades at Haymarket, London, is David Hare’s play about Sir Henry Irving, described here as the greatest actor of the Victorian age, and Ellen Terry, the most loved and best paid actress of the day. It is fresh from a sell-out season at Theatre Royal Bath.
The story follows their work together at the Lyceum Theatre and the extraordinary relationship that changed the theatre forever. The production is directed by Jeremy Herrin and designed by Bob Crowley.
