New music champion ThisIsTheMusic presents Matilda Shakes.

Fresh from selling out the main room at The Leadmill, in their hometown, Matilda Shakes are heading to the iconic Water Rats for their debut London gig! 

Expect an adrenaline filled night full of huge indie anthems as in years to come, this will be one of those I was there gigs! 

Opening the show will be rising “mod” artist Cian Downing. Expect all things mod, to ska and huge anthems thrown into the mix. With influences ranging from The Who, Paul Weller, Oasis and The Stone Roses, Cian is establishing himself as an artist to watch.

Our main support, will be London 6-piece Maze. They are back with a new line up and a bag full of new tunes. With a loyal and passionate fan base behind them and one of the best debut albums of 2023, Maze are undoubtedly one of London’s best bands!
