About Let the Right One In

Let the Right One In at Underbelly Boulevard Soho is a stage adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s best-selling Swedish novel and award-winning film. It follows Oskar, a bullied and lonely teenage boy, and Eli, the girl who moves in next door, as their friendship develops in the shadow of a series of sinister killings.

Adapted for the stage by BAFTA-winning dramatist Jack Thorne and directed by James Dacre, the production is presented in association with Marla Rubin Productions Ltd. It features 18 young performers from the NYT REP Company.

The show is part of National Youth Theatre’s Love Bites season during the charity’s 70th Anniversary year.

Suitable for ages 12 and over. No refunds or exchanges are offered after purchase.

All performances are Relaxed Horror. The theatre takes a relaxed approach to movement and noise in the audience, and latecomers are admitted. You may leave the performance space and come back in at any time.

Ear defenders and ear plugs will be available, and Chill Out Spaces can be used before and/or during the performance. Visual Cue Seats are available for every performance, with advance warning of moments such as blackouts, jump scares and loud noises.

The performance on Saturday, 16 May at 2pm is captioned in English. The performance on Tuesday, 19 May at 7pm is audio described, with a free Touch Tour beforehand. Places are limited. If you need a personal assistant or carer, a complimentary personal assistant ticket can be booked through the Box Office.
