About Cabaret

Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre on Northumberland Avenue, London, is a new West End production set in Berlin’s Kit Kat Club, brought to life through the transformation of the theatre.

The production has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. The score includes Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and Cabaret.

It has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival.

Running time: approx. 2hrs 45mins, including interval. Act 1: 1 hour and 40 minutes. Act 2: 45 minutes.

Before you book

The venue opens 75 minutes before the start time, and you should arrive 30 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. Once the show begins, readmission to the auditorium cannot be guaranteed if you leave your seat during the performance, and there may be up to a 30 minute wait before you can return.

No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. If you have any requirements that may mean you need to leave the auditorium during the show, speak to a member of staff before the performance begins. On Wednesday 18th March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm, Thursday 26th March at 7.30pm, Friday 27th March at 7.30pm and Saturday 28th March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm, Matt Willis is not scheduled to perform and the role of Emcee will be played by Joe Atkinson.
