About

SPRING campfire cocktails are back - botanical cocktails in an enchanted candle-lit roof garden at the Brunel Museum. Optional underground tours of Brunel's Grand Entrance Hall to the Thames Tunnel and a s'mores or two round the campfire. Every Friday and Saturday, 5pm - 7.15pm or 7.30pm - 10pm. Booking essential. Only 40 seats per session.

Voted one of London's best outdoor pop-up cocktail bars since 2012, it specialises in lovingly prepared seasonal botanical cocktails round a campfire made by Midnight Apothecary founder Lottie Muir AKA The Cocktail Gardener. The garden was built in 2012 as an oasis where guests are invited to cuddle up, watch the sun set surrounded by friends, lovers and local wildlife.

This candle-lit rooftop oasis is situated at the Brunel Museum above Brunel's historic Thames Tunnel. Ingredients are grown in the roof garden or foraged close by to infuse and garnish the drinks with the menu changing frequently based on what's in season.

The alcohol is carefully sourced using local brews and spirits where possible e.g. Jensen's gin, Hiver Honey Beer, Anspach and Hobday and Kernel Brewery. There is also plenty of fizz and wine available, including new additions from Sussex-based Rathfinny Estate, as well as non-alcoholic mocktails. All the proceeds from our Roof Garden tickets goes directly as a charitable donation to the Brunel Museum.

They are the best kept secret in Rotherhithe and you can expect enjoy a unique, rustic atmosphere enhanced by table service with a delicious drinks menu, firepits and s'mores kits (toasted marshmallows sandwiched between deluxe chocolate biscuits to the uninitiated!). Streetfood also available
