The Gruffalo at Nimax Theatres is Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It returns by popular demand and is marking its 25th anniversary.
A mouse sets off through the deep dark wood in search of hazelnuts, meeting Fox, Old Owl and Snake along the way. The story follows whether the terrifying Gruffalo can help Mouse avoid becoming dinner, with songs, laughs and mischievous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups.
The production has been praised by The Sunday Times, The Scotsman and Whats on Stage, with reviews describing it as charming and a master-class in timeless storytelling.
