The Gruffalo is Tall Stories’ musical adaptation of the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the show follows Mouse on a journey through the deep dark wood, where he meets Fox, Owl and Snake.

As Mouse looks for hazelnuts, he uses the story of the terrifying Gruffalo to try to avoid becoming dinner. The production is described as a mix of songs, laughs and mischievous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups.

It has also been reviewed by The Sunday Times, The Scotsman and Whats on Stage, with notices including four and five stars.

Key facts: Running time: 60 mins. Suitable for ages 3+. Wednesday 22 July at 10:30am is a relaxed performance.

Before you book

Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and they must sit in seats next to each other.
