Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney's internationally celebrated musical, reimagined for the stage by director Julie Taymor. It tells the story of Simba's journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The production brings the film to the stage with colour, effects and music, giving a clear sense of what the show offers before you visit.

Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval. Performances: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 3 years of age are not permitted into the Lyceum Theatre. The show is recommended for ages 6 and above. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Please arrive 75 minutes before the performance for Royal Circle seats and Boxes A, B, F or G, 60 minutes before for the Stalls and Boxes E, K, and 45 minutes before for Grand Circle standing positions. Guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show starts.

You will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. E-tickets are sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.
