Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney's internationally celebrated musical, reimagined for the stage by acclaimed director Julie Taymor. Based on Disney's beloved film, it tells the story of Simba and his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.
The production combines glorious colours, striking effects and enchanting music, bringing the story to the stage in a way that has made it one of Disney's best-known musical titles. It is a theatre adaptation of a familiar film story, shaped into a large-scale stage show with clear family appeal.
