Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London, is Disney's internationally celebrated musical based on the beloved film. Reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, it follows Simba's journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The production brings the story to the stage with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music.

Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performances: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 3 are not permitted to enter the Lyceum Theatre. The Lion King is recommended for ages 6 and up. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email after purchase. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. E-tickets are sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Arrive 45 minutes before for Grand Circle standing positions, 60 minutes before for Stalls and Boxes E and K, or 75 minutes before for Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G. Guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show starts, and latecomers may need to wait before being seated. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.

Please switch off your phone completely once the show begins, and open any snack packaging before the performance starts.
