About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise departs from The London Eye Pier at the London Eye and is a 40-minute circular sightseeing cruise on the River Thames. It passes some of London’s best-known riverside landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge, with expert guides providing commentary during the journey.

The cruise is award winning and focuses on the city’s riverfront from the water, with stories and facts about landmarks such as the Millennium Bridge and the history of the Houses of Parliament. The ticket also includes a souvenir guide map available in seven languages and access to The London Eye 4D experience.

Audio commentary is available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. The cruise has covered and sun deck seating, so it is suitable in all weathers.

Key facts: 40-minute circular cruise; timed entry applies and your exact admission time will be confirmed at checkout and on your voucher; the ticket does not include a flight on The London Eye; infants aged 3 and under go free but still need a ticket.

Before you book

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 and under are free, but a ticket still needs to be reserved for them. Please arrive at The Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket, and present the ticket printed or on a mobile device for scanning before boarding.

Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time, and mobility scooters are not admitted. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.

The pier is situated below The lastminute.com London Eye. Waterloo is the closest Underground station, around five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are about a 10 to 15-minute walk, and Westminster is also nearby; from Westminster, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
