About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise departs from the pier below the London Eye and offers a 40-minute circular sightseeing cruise on the Thames. This award-winning cruise takes in some of London’s best-known riverside landmarks, with views past the Houses of Parliament and on to Tower Bridge before returning to the London Eye pier.

On board, expert guides share commentary that brings the route to life with facts and stories about landmarks including Millennium Bridge and the Houses of Parliament. Audio commentary is also available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin.

The cruise ticket includes a souvenir guide map available in seven languages and access to The London Eye 4D experience. It runs in all weathers, with covered and sun deck seating available.

Key facts: 40-minute circular cruise with timed entry; exact admission time is confirmed at checkout and on your voucher. The price does not include a flight on The London Eye.

Before you book

Go to The Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket. Present your e-ticket to staff, either printed or on a mobile device, and you will be scanned in before boarding. This is a circular cruise without stops, with boarding and disembarking at The London Eye pier only.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but a ticket is still required for them. There are no exchanges or refunds available after purchase.

The attraction is wheelchair accessible. For health and safety reasons, only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time, and mobility scooters cannot be admitted. Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and will qualify for one complimentary helper ticket, requested on arrival with proof of disability. After booking, wheelchair users are recommended to email customer.services@londoneye.com with their order reference to arrange a wheelchair timeslot.

The pier is below the lastminute.com London Eye. Waterloo is the closest Underground station, around five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are around a 10 to 15 minute walk, and Westminster is also nearby. If travelling from Westminster, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
