About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise departs from the pier below The London Eye in London Eye, Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Rd, SE1 7PB. This award-winning 40-minute circular sightseeing cruise takes you along the River Thames past some of central London’s best-known riverside landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.

On board, expert guides share facts and commentary on the sights, with references to landmarks such as the Millennium Bridge, Harry Potter and the history of the Houses of Parliament. The ticket also includes a souvenir guide map available in seven languages and access to The London Eye 4D experience.

The cruise is circular with no stops, and boarding and disembarking take place only at The London Eye pier. Covered and sun deck seating means it is suitable in all weathers.

Key facts: 40-minute duration; timed entry applies; audio commentaries are available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin; the ticket does not include a flight on The London Eye.

Before you book

Timed entry is based on the time selected, and your exact admission time will be confirmed at checkout and on your voucher. Please arrive at The Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket, and present it printed or on a mobile device for scanning before boarding.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but they still need a ticket. There are no refunds or exchanges after purchase.

Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival, on presentation of proof of disability. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time. To arrange a wheelchair timeslot in advance, email customer.services@londoneye.com and quote your order reference. Mobility scooters cannot be admitted.

The London Eye Pier is below The London Eye. Waterloo is the closest Underground station, about a five-minute walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are a 10 to 15 minute walk, and Westminster is also nearby via exit one and signs for Westminster Pier.
