About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise departs from The Eye Pier below The London Eye and is a 40-minute circular sightseeing cruise on the River Thames. It is an award-winning experience, with boarding and disembarking at The Eye Pier only.

The cruise takes in London’s riverside landmarks, with expert guides sharing facts and commentary about places including the Millennium Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge. The commentary is designed to be both informative and entertaining, with a mix of facts and humour.

Audio commentaries are available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. Your ticket also includes a souvenir guide map in seven languages and access to The London Eye 4D experience. The cruise is suitable in all weathers, with covered and sun deck seating.

Duration: 40 minutes. Entry: timed entry applies, and the exact admission time will be confirmed at checkout and on your voucher.

Before you book

Please arrive at The Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket. Present your e-ticket printed or on a mobile device, as it will be scanned before boarding the cruise.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but still need a ticket.

There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase. The price does not include a flight on The London Eye.

The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time. Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and will qualify for one complimentary helper ticket, requested on arrival with proof of disability. Wheelchair timeslots should be booked in advance by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com, quoting your order reference. Mobility scooters are not admitted.

The pier is below The London Eye and within easy walking distance of Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster. Waterloo is the closest station, around five minutes away on foot. Embankment and Charing Cross are around 10 to 15 minutes away; from Westminster, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
