About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise departs from the pier below the London Eye and is an award-winning sightseeing cruise on the River Thames. It gives you a view of central London from the water, with the route taking in landmarks including the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.

On board, guided commentary brings the journey to life with facts about the Millennium Bridge, Harry Potter and the history of the Houses of Parliament. Audio commentaries are available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin.

The cruise ticket also includes a souvenir guide map available in seven languages and access to The London Eye 4D experience. The cruise does not include a flight on The London Eye.

Key facts: This is a 40-minute circular cruise with boarding and disembarking at The London Eye pier only. It operates with timed entry and is suitable in all weathers, with covered and sun deck seating.

Before you book

Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but they must still reserve a ticket. Your exact admission time is confirmed at checkout and on your voucher, and you should arrive at The Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket. E-tickets can be scanned from a printed copy or a mobile device.

There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase. Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and can request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival by showing proof of disability. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time. It is recommended that you email customer.services@londoneye.com with your order reference to book a wheelchair timeslot in advance. Mobility scooters are not admitted.

The pier is below The lastminute.com London Eye. Waterloo is the closest Underground station and is about five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are about a 10 to 15 minute walk, and Westminster station is also nearby. From Waterloo, follow signs for the South Bank; from Westminster, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
