About The London Eye River Cruise

The London Eye River Cruise at the London Eye Pier is an award-winning 40-minute sightseeing cruise on the River Thames. Departing below the London Eye, it takes you past some of the city’s best-known riverside landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge, with live commentary from expert guides on board.

The cruise is designed to give you a clear view of the river from a different perspective, with facts and commentary on landmarks such as Millennium Bridge and the Houses of Parliament. A souvenir guide map is included, available in seven languages, and access to The London Eye 4D experience is also included with the ticket.

The boat has covered and sun deck seating, and audio commentaries are available on a first come, first served basis in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. It is a circular cruise without stops, boarding and disembarking at The London Eye Pier only.

Before you book

Timed entry applies, and your exact admission time will be confirmed at checkout and on your voucher. Please arrive at The Eye Pier at least 15 minutes before the time shown on your e-ticket, which can be presented printed or on a mobile device for scanning before boarding.

Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but they must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. The price does not include a flight on The London Eye.

There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase. Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and will qualify for one complimentary helper ticket, requested on arrival with proof of disability. The attraction is wheelchair accessible, but only three wheelchairs are allowed on the cruise at any one time, and mobility scooters cannot be admitted. After booking, wheelchair timeslots should be arranged in advance by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com with your order reference.

Waterloo is the closest station, about five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are about ten to fifteen minutes’ walk, and Westminster is also nearby.
