Rainy Heart x The Loft

Rainy Heart and The Loft link up for a proper Mancunian–London get-together, in that there London.

Expect raised glasses, nodded heads, a bit of dancing (optional but encouraged), excellent tacos (from Tacos Padre), and a respectable home time before anyone turns into a pumpkin.

Daniel John Willis and Johnny Smith left Manchester in the early noughties to throw parties and make bangers, eventually finding themselves running some of London’s best restaurants. These days, they operate a slightly naughty loft space above their restaurant, Luca — now firmly established as a home for very good parties and very good music.

Meanwhile, back up north, Dan Hope and Ruf Dug have been busy doing the same — growing Rainy Heart from a roaming party into a full-blown community and, more recently, a permanent space. The result: some of Manchester’s most talked-about shindigs, now heading south for the night.
