On the back of their sold out party at Night Tales Loft, London's premier world music purveyors are back at The Jago for a night of entrancing music from the farcorners of the world.
Expect everything from Calypso from Trinidad & Tobago to Samba from Brazil, Highlife from Ghana to Soul from Japan, Arabic Disco to South Asian Boogie and beyond.
Their headline guest for this party is a member of the MyAnalogJournal family. Swedish/Palestinian ‘Shaqdi’ is an artist, producer and DJ with a passion for collecting and sharing soulful music, especially from the late ‘80s to early ‘90s. Though her sets go beyond this as she also loves to explore the North African & Middle Eastern flavours which is her other half.
These parties are, by nature, inclusive, and are meant to be safe spaces, where the cultural tapestry of global music can be heard, found and appreciated in it's richness. We want to bring people into that vision and have an absolute zero tolerance policy for bigoted, creepy or abusive behaviour.
Tickets for this event are incredibly limited and we expect them to sell-out fast. We advise all attendees to buy tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment and to arrive before 11.30PM to avoid queueing.
