About

George & his New Heartaches capture the early electric honky-tonk and western-swing sounds that were sweeping the dance-halls of the USA in the 1940s and 50s from such greats as Ray Price, Bob Wills, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell...

Featuring country-style fiddling, swinging twin electric guitar riffs, a shuffling string bass and rhythm guitar, and cutting high lonesome vocal harmonies, this band knows how a good country song should sound.Led by George Aschmann, a fiddler and singer from Shenandoah County, VA, this band regularly hosts two-step/swing dance parties in Berlin's dancehalls.

These boys will break your heart and scuff your dancing boots!

Catch them for a rare visit to the UK.
