Hello beautiful people!

For our first screening, we're gonna kick off with I Am Not A Witch (Nyoni, 2017).

A dark Zambian comic about a young girl accused of witchcraft. She’s forcefully sent to a witch camp - borderline sanctioned by the state - and told if she cuts the rope she’s tethered to, she’ll transform into a goat.

Doors open at 6 for drinks and mixers. A short intro to the film and then we get right into it. Afterwards we got a discussion to finish the night.

Flight Club is a film club for POC and those from working class backgrounds. For cinephiles who need a third space to discuss and indulge everything cinema and for those who never got the time, money or education to explore films past Netflix listings or local showtimes. Here is finally the chance to flex some knowledge or put the homies on to gems.
