The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of the classic cult film. It is the first major London revival and transferred to the West End after a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
The show follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history. The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards, and the West End production opens on 15 September, with previews from 30 August.
Key facts: Richard Kind’s final performance in The Producers at the Garrick Theatre will be on 6 May 2026.
Age guidance: 13+. The production includes scenes of a sexual nature, and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis.
