About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. Following a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, it transfers to the West End this autumn.

Based on the classic cult film, the story follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they try to create the biggest flop in theatre history. The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards.

Key facts: The production opens on 15 September, with previews from 30 August. Richard Kind’s final performance at the Garrick Theatre is on 6 May 2026.

Before you book

Age guidance: 13+. Includes scenes of a sexual nature, and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis. Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and seated next to them.

Tickets and entry: Your e-ticket will only be emailed after you complete Nimax Theatres’ online check-in process, which begins approximately 72 hours before the performance. Pre-visit attendance check-in emails are sent from Nimax Theatres, and contactless e-tickets are issued once check-in is complete.

Changes and refunds: No refunds are offered. If you cannot confirm that you or someone in your party can attend, exchange requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance start time.
