The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. It transfers to the West End following a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Based on the classic cult film, the story follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they plot to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for the plan to go badly wrong in the best possible way.
Key facts: The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. This production opens at the Garrick Theatre in London after its Menier Chocolate Factory run.
Age guidance: 13+. The production includes scenes of a sexual nature and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis, and contains strobe effects and loud sound effects including gunshots.
Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and must sit in seats next to each other. Your e-ticket is only emailed after you complete the online check-in process, which begins approximately 72 hours before the performance start time.
