The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of the classic cult film. This first major London revival transferred from the Menier Chocolate Factory after a sold-out run, and the original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards.
The story follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they attempt to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for the scheme to backfire. The show includes scenes of a sexual nature, and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis.
Richard Kind’s final performance in The Producers at the Garrick Theatre will be on 6 May 2026. The West End production opened on 15 September, with previews from 30 August.
