The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. It transfers to the West End after a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory and is based on the classic cult film.
The show follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to stage the biggest flop in theatre history, with the plan backfiring to thunderous applause. The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards.
