JOHN FLOREANI

John Floreani is inspired by romantic tragedy and beauty in life’s most simple phenomena’s. A lyrical deep dive into heartache, addiction and self-loathing.

The musician best known as the front man of Australian Punk band Trophy Eyes, has had a steady stream of releases including Sin (2019) and his most recent single Good Boy (2022).

Johns music draws on deep emotional connections to the everyday struggles in a stark and relatable way. The harmonic make up of his records draw inspiration from a huge range of styles from folk and indie to rock and alternative. This vast well of influence culminates in arrangements that range from the heart wrenching to the truly up-lifting. 

As with his work in Trophy Eyes, Johns vocals project an unparalleled range of emotion to the listener. His solo work creates a powerful juxtoposition between his vocal style and the space created within the arrangements. 

This is a truly special event that will see John play in an intimate and Unique DIY setting and we are expecting this to sell out extremely quickly!

The venue is not accessible from Tidworth Rd.

Directions: Go underneath the blue and white bridge on Eleanor st, and take the first right
through the black gates (you will see our signs!) go past Bun & Sum restaurant with the railway
arches on your right. Go under the bridge at the end of the road and turn right.
The venue is located in unit 30. You will enter through our wonderful beer garden surrounded by
Green fencing so keep an eye out for that.
TRANSPORT

The venue benefits from ample free parking around the frontage of the venue on Eleanor St.

The venue has ground level loading throughout (no stairs required!)
Local bus routes include: 108, 25, 205, 273, 276 425, 488
The venue is equidistant from both Bow Church DLR and Bow Rd underground.
The venue is extremely accessible and is only a 5 minutes walk from all public transport.
