For music lovers, we've curated a line-up featuring DJs such as Dave Rose & Neil Thornton (Keeping the Groove), Jay Bacall (The Esoteric Club), plus we are super excited to announce our good friend Toby Tobias will be playing a special terrace set,  a fantastic DJ, producer and runs the fantastic Voice Notes label and. lives 5 minutes from the pub. 

Expect a vibrant blend of dub, reggae, Balearica , mellow house, streetsoul, and more-setting the perfect mood as the party unfolds from afternoon into evening. We're thrilled to launch a summer season brimming with fun and surprises.

Toby Tobias is a producer based in London with a 20+ year career, he's been coming to the shop for nearly as long! Releasing on a number of labels across the globe most notably Rekids, Delusions Of Grandeur, ESP Institute, appearing on Klasse Wrecks and Emotional Especial under his rave alias Alphonse. Currently running his Voice Notes label, and being a DJ of great repute, Toby and Phonica held down a monthly residency round the corner from the shop at the tragically much missed House Of St.Barnabas, which was one of the country's oldest charities and counted Gilles Peterson, Andrew Weatherall and Jarvis Cocker as Patrons. Toby's eclectic fresh DJ style dips and dives from balearic and dub, to rave, hardcore, afro, disco and techno. With his latest label cassette release just dropping, a compilation of various artists called: A Collection Of Works Part 2: 1990-2025, we reached out to find out about a few of the records he's unearthed in recent months.

Following an fun packed launch, the team is coming together once again for another free outdoor Garden Party at The Elmhurst Pub on Sunday, 24th May 2026. Running from 1pm to 10pm, this bank holiday event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the alfresco fun and not worry about school the next day-so don't forget to save the date! Spend a delightful afternoon and evening in our beautifully renovated garden, basking in sunshine and surrounded by cheerful faces and great energy.
