About The Smartest Giant in Town
The Smartest Giant in Town is a 55-minute musical stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s story about George, the scruffiest giant in town, who goes to a clothes shop and emerges in smart trousers, a smart shirt, a stripy tie and shiny shoes. His new look does not last long, as he soon meets a group of animals who need his help, and his clothes.
From award-winning Little Angel Theatre, creators of A Sguash and a Squeeze and Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book, and West End producers Fierylight, the production is Olivier Award nominated. It features puppets, songs and Julia Donaldson’s characters, with an approach that makes the story easy to follow for young audiences.
Running time: 55 minutes. Age guidance: 2 to 8 years.
