Family Carol Concert by Candelight
Light up your December with a radiant family sing-along. Our sonorous baritone and sparking pianist lead an uplifting concert crafted for every voice: parents, grandparents and school-age children; from those who love to sing to those trying it for the first time, with moments to sing softly and chances to belt proudly. The music glows in shimmering soft candlelight, with low lighting throughout to create a calm, magical atmosphere. Come as you are, don festive jumpers, and make memories you will keep long after the last chorus.
Please Note:
Low lighting throughout; best for school-aged children and older
This is a concert, not a service; lyrics provided; everyone sings
Performers: Alistair Sutherland, Baritone and David Smith, Piano

St Mary Magdalen Church boasts a rich history dating back to William the Conqueror and is built on the site of Bermondsey Abbey. Situated on Bermondsey Street, there's plenty to see and enjoy before or after a Candlelight Concert, including a bevy of craft ale breweries, a gin house, eclectic cafes and eateries. The venue is also close to the Zandra Rhodes Fashion and Textile Museum, as well as the cutting-edge White Cube Gallery.
If you fancy a stroll down the river, take in the sights along the Thames, past the iconic HMS Belfast, through Hays Galleria, and then take a turn around the world-famous Borough Market.
