London Eye - Standard Experience takes place at the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135 metres, it is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel and features 32 high-tech glass capsules.
One full rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. From the wheel, you can enjoy 360-degree views across London, with sightlines said to reach up to 40 kilometres on a clear day. Landmarks visible from the London Eye include Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square.
The London Eye is described as an iconic part of London’s skyline, combining panoramic views with a central location close to many of the capital’s best-known sights.

Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over.
Go to Standard Access (A) at the time shown on your e-ticket. You can present your e-ticket printed or on a mobile device, and you will be scanned in before the start of your visit.
There are no exchanges or refunds available after purchase.
Disabled guests should purchase a standard ticket and will qualify for one complimentary helper ticket, requested on arrival at the attraction on presentation of proof of disability. For health and safety reasons, only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and a maximum of eight wheelchairs in total are allowed on the London Eye at any one time. After booking your standard ticket, it is recommended that you book your wheelchair timeslot in advance by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com and quoting your order reference. Mobility scooters are not admitted.

The London Eye is within easy walking distance of several London Underground stations. Waterloo is the closest station, around five minutes’ walk away. Embankment and Charing Cross are on the north side of the River Thames and are a ten to fifteen minute walk, crossing Hungerford Bridge. Westminster station is also nearby; take exit one and follow signs for Westminster pier.
