London Eye - Standard Experience at the London Eye sits on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135 metres high, the wheel has 32 high-tech glass capsules and offers 360-degree views across London.
From the capsule, you can see landmarks including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square. On a clear day, views can stretch as far as Windsor Castle.
Key facts: One rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. The London Eye offers 40 kilometre panoramic views in all directions.
Infants aged 3 years and under are free, but must still reserve a ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Go to Standard Access (A) at the time shown on your e-ticket and present it printed or on a mobile device to be scanned before the start of your visit.
The attraction is wheelchair accessible. Disabled guests should buy a standard ticket and request one complimentary helper ticket on arrival with proof of disability. For health and safety reasons, only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and no more than eight wheelchairs are allowed on the London Eye at any one time. Mobility scooters are not admitted. Wheelchair timeslots should be booked in advance by emailing customer.services@londoneye.com and quoting your order reference. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.

The London Eye is within easy walking distance of Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster Underground stations. Waterloo is the closest station, around five minutes’ walk away. From Waterloo, follow signs for the South Bank. Embankment and Charing Cross are a ten to fifteen minute walk, crossing Hungerford Bridge. From Westminster, take exit one and follow signs for Westminster Pier.
